After the overwhelming Smashing Conference in Barcelona, we're very happy bring it back in October 2017 — a friendly, valuable and inspiring community event that will help us all, web designers and developers, to become better at what we do.

The main focus of the conference is to provide insights into how we, as designers, solve real-life design problems and what workflow we are using to solve them intelligently. One workshop day and two full days with practical talks on smart techniques, clever strategies and useful tools, neatly packed with lots of learning, sharing and networking opportunities.

SmashingConf Barcelona 2017

Our Smashing Conference is a four-day event for professional web designers and web developers, to be held in the one-of-a-kind Palau de la Música Catalana in lovely Barcelona, Spain. We have invited outstanding, inspiring speakers, and we look forward to two days full of stimulating, expert workshops at the IED School of Design.

We'd like to explore what works and doesn't work in actual real-life projects. That's why the conference will be focused on practical takeaways, workflows and hands-on insights. The goal is that every talk will deliver tangible, actionable points that we all will be able to learn from and use right away.

Tuesday and Wednesday (October 17th and 18th) will then be dedicated to high-quality conference talks by some of the most well-respected experts in today's Web industry, giving you the chance to get up close and personal.

In the evening, our party will give you an opportunity to relax and network after the program of the conference's first day.

SmashingConf Barcelona takes place from October 17th and 18th, 2017, with the workshops being held on the 23rd of October. The ticket sales will start on Tuesday, June 9th, with the regular ticket price $499.00—both including Spanish VAT (21% and all booking fees. Student discounts (25% off) are available upon request as well.
